Canadian Soldiers....what military bases have you been to?

I joined the Communication Reserve in 1980, spent 15 years in uniform & 5 years as a civvie with DND. I had a helluva good time (in retrospect!). My military travels took me to the following places:

- James Street Armoury, Hamilton, Ontario
- CFB Downsview, Toronto, Ontario
- Meaford, Ontario
- CFB Borden, Ontario
- CFB Wainwright, Alberta
- Camp Iperwash, Ontario
- Canadian Forces Station Bermuda
- CFB Shilo, Manitoba
- CFB Portage la Prairie, Manitoba
- CFB Winnipeg, Manitoba
- CFB Kingston, Ontario
- US Camp Grayling, Michigan, USA (flew in a Huey & a Blackhawk)
- CFB London, Ontario
- National Defence Headquarters, Ottawa, Ontario (10 years)

Gonna be at Pet for the first time for Stalwart Guardian this summer.
Drove through RMC.

And I train out of the John Foote Armoury ("James St Armoury"), I take it you started off in 705 Comms Sqn?

You guessed correctly! My military career began with 705 Comm Sqn. I also had many acquantances/friends in the RHLIs, ASH Cans and Circus Battalion. Hamilton has a very tigthtly knit military community, and a very proud heritage.

Fort York
CFB Borden
CFB Meaford
Ontars (Oshawa Ontario)
HMCS York for medical training

most of those are however just regiments but I believe the first guy mentioned armouries also so yeah.
