What the hell is that Klu Klax Klan propaganda doing as a war movie?
Here are some other of my favourites:
Big Red One
Brave Heart
The Caine Mutiny (with Bogart as the crazy skipper)
Das Boot (one of my favourites; if you've never seen it, please rent the German version with English subtitles)
The Dirty Dozen
Empire of the sun
Escape to victory (only because of Pele, Bobby, Lato and Deyna)
From here to Eternity (Johnny Fontaine ;) )
Full Metal Jacket
Gallipoli
The Great escape
The Guns of Navarone
Kelly's Hereos (now who is your favourite? Oddball, Kelly or Big Joe?)
Patton (This one was an egual of The longest day and SPR)
Saving Private Ryan
Schindler's List (Ben Kingsley is one of my favourite actors)
Stalingrad (I don't feel sorry for the Germans, unlike in Das Boot; but its still a good movie)
Thin Red Line (Great actors and good characters)
Tora! Tora! Tora!
Where eagles dare
Zulu
How come the Battle of Midway is not mentioned?
Anyway as for the worst movies I have seen that are on the list:
Cross of Iron (let's never mention this piece of crap)
Good morning Vietnam (I like Robin Williams but this movie is bad)
Rambo: First blood Part II (what the f*ck?)
Sink the Bismarck (might boring, mighty propaganda)
Train (one of the worst Burt Lancaster movies I've watched)
Twelve o'clock high (the show was bad enough)

Relax.
It was Civil War era. Not a Civil War movie. Spaghetti western ring a bell!
I think you need to pay attention to detail.

Tumbledown
One of the best movies of the Falklands war. I think it was made for TV in the UK.
On another note I am looking for a copy of this movie in either VHS or DVD. But I cannot find it at all. If anyone know where I could get a copy let me know.
Cheers,
