Saddam Hussein's two sons had about $100m in Iraqi dinars and US dollars with them when they were killed by American forces in northern Iraq, according to a report.

US-based news magazine Newsweek also reveals what it says were the contents of Uday Hussein's briefcase - including Viagra, numerous bottles of cologne, unopened packages of men's underwear, dress shirts, a silk tie and a single condom.

The magazine reports that Uday and his younger brother, Qusay, also had two women's purses with them.

The money found with the former Iraqi leader's sons is more than three times the $30m bounty put on their heads by the US Government.

You know, given the history of JIHAD and how they have lost just about every one of them against western powers.... going all the way back to the Bizantine empire.... one has to come to the conclusion that a Jihad in the face of western civilization is about as effective as an inch long impotent *****. Good for pissing in the wind, but not much else.

The fact that warplanes werent used in the battle and he said they were leads me to believe that perhaps this tape is prerecorded.

Technically they did use some helicopter runs on it also. Ultimately it probably doesn't matter, as just like the Iraqi Information Minister, he'll say whatever he feels he needs to so he can try to get power back.

I doubt this is prerecorded. I mean....do you really think he planned for his sons to be killed, both on the same day? Plus he also mentions his grandson.

I forget exactly what it was on, might have been Saturday Night Live. They had a guy sitting at a news anchor desk as Dan Rather or Tom Brokaw. He was going on vacation, so they needed to record him saying all these things that could possibly happen while he was out. They started out with "A tractor trailer jack-knifed on route 25 today..." and other normal stuff, but within 2-3 minutes they had him saying stuff like "Switzerland invaded Iran today..." completely off the wall. I got this great visual of Saddam Hussein recording all these videos of possible things that could happen just in case he was knocked off in the early days of the war.

A father wants to portray his sons in a favorable light, even and especially if he is an elderly disposed dictator. Soon, Saddam himself will die in a shootout and throughout the arab world there will be tales about the zionist-controlled american mercenaries against whom he made his last stand. Remember this was the man who wanted to re-occupy the Al-Quds mosque in Jerusalem to become the leader of the arab world.

And christians, jews and muslims will still be ordering a whopper with extra onions and a soda to go.

Lets's think about this a minute,On various satellite channels I heard Gen.Sanchez say that they had A10's on call,should the need arise.........now why is it so hard to imagine that perhaps Saddam has also seen these same reports,or one of his minders for that matter,a casual comment from one of the arabic press corps after the briefing ,on the streets can quite easily find it's way back to Saddam !
Now despite all the attention of the West some Arab states despite Saddams past history will still see him as a leader who fought to the end against superior Western Forces,killing him would settle it ,but to capture him alive,would be a far greater achievment,then try him and then kill him.
Think of this Dillema for the shooter,he enters the room,it's filled with smoke and blood and carnage,and there in front of him,wounded and unarmed is the 2nd most wanted man in the world,does he kill him without a blink of an eye,and is known in US SOF folklore as the guy who capped Saddam or does he say ,don't move Mother Fu*cker,and cuff him and bag him,and come out o the worlds press as the guy who just captured Saddam!The stigma involved in the 1st incident may live to haunt him for the rest of his life,because some individual will eventually have to make that stark choice!!
Now before all you hate filled guys say cap him,remember it's not you who'll have to live up to his consequences!!

Whats really amazing about this audio is that even Saddam believes that his sons are DEAD. Now the media will be forced to stop running the "skeptic' stories.

As to why Saddam and OBL refusing to buy video camcorders are beyond me. Makes you wonder if the tapes are fakes, the audio noise intended to cover evidence of the fakery.

But you gotta hand it to him, Saddam was always a good father. Providing for his kids...ya know... a tiger here and a 14 yr old rape victim there...its all about providing for your kids.
