Believe me it's 30sec of work in photoshop. But that guy forgot about shadows, if I would like to do some shots of a camo pattern, I would make a 3D soldier in let's say gMax, then texture it with that camo pattern, and then render it using some background photo. Not just cut soldier shape from pattern.. it looks extremely unrealistic... and ugly :D

(I'm doing textures for 3D models every day, so I know what I'm talkin' about :) )
