Hallo Gents,:)

I have been asked by a Romanian friend to help id this badge:-

the words "ZA DOMOVINIU STITOM NAPRED" over a banner,

beneath which the profiles of a woman and man (soldier).

Originally the badge would have been gilt / gold colour.

Any help appreciated with the i.d. and the reason for its use.

Maybe i could help , first , the badge inscription is not in Russian but Croatian or Serbian. Second, the words "ZA DOMOVINU S TITOM NAPRED", which mean in English "For homeland together with Tito". It's Yugoslav not Soviet badge, by the looks it's probably a badge from youth working actions (ORA) or something like that.
