It's American so it's BS!

Who needs gauss rifles when you can have DREAD? That is truly amazing technology there.

sounds unbelievable to me. I will only believe this when I have seen video footage of live shooting. if this is true thatn this weapon may really revolutonize warfare. but question remains, which human being is capable of using the full potential of this weapon?

Well.......

If it's real.....and not overpromised, underdeveloped vapourware...I see a problem with it.

I assume the wheel that "catapults" the projectiles out of the weapon is constantly spinning at high velocity, at all times.

Otherwise, latency time from powering up the system until it reaches firing speed would be quite high.

Any physics big brains concur?

Neat idea, thinking outside the square...assuming it really works......

Looks like UFO reverse engineering conspiracy to me ;)

If they do have a functional prototype, that could be one of the things they're working on improving: shortening the latency between pulling the trigger and bullet release.

THere is no latency at all, just wind them at morning and refill losses from car electrical system.. such "disks" can spin very long time with loosing only some percent o energy. I think a day and 50% loose is possible now... AFAIK there were busses in ?London? propeled with spining massive disks and if I remember corectly they could hold spin for quite long time..but energy lasted only for few bus stops :)...
