I've heard rumors the government is moving the regiment over to NSW. And selling the land that Swanbourne barracks are on.

Its true that the TAG-w is effectively only responsible for WA terrorist events, or those in the sourounding waters, and I would suggest that they would be the most likely groups, in the near term, to be tasked with overseas CT events, and probably those dealing with shipping and oil platforms. The other TAG, as it evolves into the fully functional TAG that it is intended to be will most likely be exactly the same in terms of functionality. There is a user in this forum name "Spud" who will have the most accurate answer that the public is allowed to know. I suggest you PM him with the question, and then PM me with the results of your inquiry :D
Detailing the relative finctions and capabilities of the TAG's at this stage in their evolution is best not done in this forum outside of PMs.
BTW, post a link to the article you were refering to... its not in the Defence Journal. Were you refering to the Army News? The only TAG article there is http://www.defence.gov.au/news/armynews/editions/1073/topstories/story01.htm
