Blagojevich claims he's 'blacker' than Obama
By Deanna Bellandi, THE ASSOCIATED PRESS
CHICAGO - Ousted Illinois Governor Rod Blagojevich says he's "blacker than Barack Obama" and tells Esquire magazine that he was a real person in a political arena dominated by phonies.
Blagojevich, referring to the president as "this guy," says Obama, a fellow Democrat from Illinois, was elected based simply on hope.
"What the (expletive)? Everything he's saying's on the teleprompter," Blagojevich told the magazine for a story in its February issue, which hits newsstands Jan. 19.
"I'm blacker than Barack Obama. I shined shoes. I grew up in a five-room apartment.
My father had a little laundromat in a black community not far from where we lived," said Blagojevich, who is white. "I saw it all growing up."
The White House refused to comment.

Meh, he's going to jail and is disgraced anyway, yet this will take Reid and Bill Clinton out of the sight picture.

Blagojevich is a perfect example of what happens when you meddle with the Bank of America.

Blagojevich is just another example of the "Chicago Way" of politics which has given us such moral luminaries as the compeltely corrupt Daley family, Dan Rostenkowski, Rahm "Ron" Emmanuel, and The Chosen One.
Five room apartment?! **** i was growing up in 2 room, and 3 room, and my father didn't have a business.
Maybe he mean's all rooms together, kitchen, bathroom, livingroom and 2 bedrooms??? Because a 4bedroom + 1 living room appartement would be huge...

I'll alert the Aryan Brotherhood. I'm sure they'll be interested in his theories on race.

The way Blagojevich talks I don't even think the brotherhood will take him.

I'm not a fan of Blegoavich, but how is what he said at all related to the Aryan Nation? Its not uncommon for white Democrats to call themselves black. In fact, didn't we already have the first black president? How is it any worse than what Harry Reid or Biden said?

He's just keeping the name out there for when he's on trial. He's a publicity whore.

Wowsers! Was that real or photoshopped? My skin would probably turn white if I walked within 20 feet of that crowd.
