Imperialist Sweden-hellbent on world domination

In the east the swedish stormtroopers have conquered the shores of the Baltic, in the west terrorizing their danish neighbours. King Gustav "Saddam" Adolph has shown his true nature and all of Europe lives in fear.

Sweden-50 years later, king Charles "Uday" XII tries to expand the borders of the Empire even further east, his attempt to capture Moscow fails at Poltava when Peter "The Great" and his freedom fighters give them a lesson. But the old dreams are not forgotten...

Uncharacteristically, the swedes then try parlamentarism for a while, but decide it's not for them and get another warmongering monarch, Gustav "Qusay" III. And, guess what, go to war again, not having had enough of Russia yet. And they lose, again.

Then France, the natural ally of dictators steps in and marshal Bernadotte is made the next king. The swedes lose land in the east but now fall on the hapless oil-rich norwegians, almost 200 years before Saddam attacked Kuweit. 100 years of darkness await the norwegians.

Now Sweden concentrates on industrial growth, well knowing it is the key to any future conquests. They send a couple of million swedes as scouts into the United States to prepare for the main invasion forces and to wage psychological operations. The scouts/psy-ops concentrate in Minnesota and start preparing the locals.

In both world wars, Sweden remains "neutral", doing good business with both sides and bolstering it's military even further. In the 50's they possess 800 warplanes and openly discuss nuclear weapons. The swedish stormtroopers gain valuable foreign experience from numerous "peacekeeping" operations under the UN flag.

2003-The moment has come, american forces are overextended in operations all over the world. The only thing still needed is to convince the troops remaining in the U.S to bury their weapons in the ground for a week. The time needed for the swedish navy to land the first invasion forces along the eastern seaboard.

Wont happen anymore either... By the end of this year nearly ALL check bags will be screened for explosives, and ALL carry-on luggage and persons are already screened with EDS machines... Unfortunately they already discontinued the shoe searches... Its now an option rather or not you want to remove your shoes, which it shouldnt be. Al Qaeda has show that they are capable and willing of smugling explosives in that fashion, so we should continue to deny them the ability to do so.

Anyway, i doubt there will EVER be another 9-11 type attack again. Planes have hit buildings since, but it was small 1-pilot no-passenger planes with pilots who wanted a way out of their financial or social woes.

I doubt 120 passengers will ever be held at bay by 5 knife wielding terrorists again.

I can testify to the thoroughness of bag screening nowadays. A few months ago I was traveling from New York (Islip-MacArthur Airport) to Denver Itnl., taking a duffel bag for clothes and a carry-on backpack for some books I needed for some schoolwork.

After we checked our bags, we went to the security checkpoint and went through. I put my backpack to be scanned through the X-RAY machine and went on through the metal detector and all that fun stuff. I waited for a few minutes waiting for my backpack to come through, then I realize they're staring at it through the X-RAY machine. A minute or so later they pull me aside and start swabbing through the seams of it (I don't know why my bag was considered suspicious). Within about 5 minutes they found TINY traces of nitroglycerin (and I still don't know how that got in there). We're talking about the smallest traces you could possibly imagine.

Well, they let me go and figured it could've been fertilizer or something. Nothing really happened. The moral of the story: security at airports nowadays is hardcore.

No, sir. That was a confirmed suicide. He left a note to his parents expressing his decision to end his own life. He was infact training to be a pilot, and while he was doing the pre-flight, with his instructor elsewhere, stole the plane. He was chased by a law enforcement helicopter for a good while before he deliberately crashed into a small office building. It was quite sad.

That is, if we are talking of the same incident in Florida.
