hi guys
sorry to post this here, but im at my last resort, im in the uk, i work in the special effects inustry here in london, and i have a possible film this year needing an at4, its prooving very very difficult in these sensitive times to get hold of inert ordnance, strangley gov's think they are easily converted and they, as you know, dont realize that its much easier to start from scratch! anyway rant over with, not that the gov really messes with the film industry, but it def is harder to get used ordnance these days, sigh.
Does anyone on here have a clue who to talk to to get a few tubes?
i have an ok budget for these but bear in mind its not a huge film.
sorry again to post this here but i know i could be talking to the right people.
cheers fellas

Any AT4 that has been fired once is basically intert, without the original rocket its just a fiberglass tube. I know you can buy them in American surplus stores for a few hundred doillars and there should be loads out there.
However im not sure what will happen if you try to import one to the UK. Best bet would be to try surplus stores or check with local collectors.

Dont think you will be able to get hold of real one's. As i seem to remember a court case in Liverpool a while ago, where the coppers nicked someone with a tube from a L72. But the good news is you can get hold of wooden one's http://www.relics.org.uk/productinfo.php?product=511 Here

Try to get hold of a training tube...
It exsist various types from dummy tubes (with correct weight) to 9mm training versions. Check with Bofors...
If you don't succeed in UK, what about shooting your AT4 scenes at a different location?
Maybee in Sweden...we have shytloads of AT4s (or m/86 as they are called here).
If everything fails try to create your own. As mentioned above an AT4 is just a fiberglass tube with a very very simple stock and sights. Pictures and specs should be easy to get hold of...

like the rest have said, the AT-4 is a one shot round that is housed in a fiber glass tubes. Though I suppose that most of the empty tubes will have their plastic sights kicked off.

ive tried in uk but laws here are tough even for a film person like me.

worst comes to worst search "Airsoft AT4s" there's quite a few airsofters with hardons for these types of things. There's a couple of articles about how to build your own At4 for airsofting.
