I'm the one that posted the video and this is what down. This guy was chanting Jets for about 10 minutes straight. This is the first part of the video Obnoxious yes, but definately not breaking the law. Then this lady in a wheelchair says for him to come down to her and smacks him in the face and tells him to shut the f**k up. I didn't get this on tape (wish i did cause it was funny). He walked back up to his wife/gf. Apparently survellance called the cops to the area. When they walked up I believe she pointed her finger at him. They just knew there was some disturbance and they were checking in on it. The cops walked over to him and he was still chanting Jets. It didn't seem like they were into fact finding. The next thing you know he gets pulled which is the second part of the video. I thought it was messed up and over the line

Where's the God damned taze? j/k
The San Diego PD does a top notch job at that stadium.

They look like they're positioned at the concession/pizza joints.
*Nom nom nom nom* unruly fan?! *nom nom nom nom* ok *burp* *nom nom nom nom* I'm coming!
On a serious note: I prefer the riot police we have at games, they know what they do and to a certain point they approach it 'live and let live'. Overkill for some, but better than some self righteous bubble stomachs.

I was at a Charger game once, he was with the Chargers Uniformed security just yelling at them...I was leaving at the time...but don't touch these guys. No idea what happened to him, he was belligerent and they stood there listening attempting to calm him down. I suppose before they had to beat the **** out of him. The red shirt ELITE security is interesting.

Not sure about that situation. If somebody is being a total ass and disturbing the peace, maybe somebody oughta punch him in the nose and get it over with. Viewing the video, not sure if the PD was in the right or wrong.
In other news, Nate Kaeding tried to commit suicide yesterday by hanging himself, but was saved when he couldn't kick the chair from out underneath himself.

I just wonder what sattelite/box/provider you use to watch the NFL games in Germany?! I can't remember them airing any games in years.
With the exception of the superbowl, funny enough without commercial breaks, entirely live from the stadium, at least 2 years ago. Remember that?

Not Cool!
He looked depressed after that game, but I don't think they Bolts can blame it just on on him. You've got to get into the RED ZONE and score more if you want to make it to the Stupor Bowl.

There are some free live streams and another option is the NFL gamepass, which costs money but has excellent quality and archives games... meaning if you don't stay up until 4am to watch the end of a game you can watch it in its entirety the next day or whenever.
I bought the gamepass.
Am pretty sure the super bowl will be on Sat.1 or ARD this year.

This year has been tough on kickers, with a couple of exceptions, they've been collectively atrocious in clutch situations and games.
I watch them on the internet.

Just got a PM regarding that topic. Unitymedia seems to have some channel that airs nfl games. Funny enough i use Unitymedia, but never bothered to check out their extra offers.
I never managed to not fall asleep during a Super Bowl. Worst possible time, monday till 4 am, lol.

There used to be a big SB party in a D-Dorf hotel, back in the Rhein Fire days. Not sure on the status now.
Edit: I guess there is a party again:

Not fond going there after a 30th birthday party on saturday and work on monday. :)
Btw while i read "Düsseldorf Panther": I have a common friend with a NFL player - grin. A guy who played there and went to school in Neuss and D-Dorf now plays for the New England Patriots, even successful. My friend was his quarterback, lol. And also from the German youth national team. Sebastian Vollmer (http://www.patriots.com/team/index.cfm?ac=playerbio&bio=33655). Played in 14 and started in 8 games as a rookie for the Patriots.

this was retarded. They arrested him for cheering for the jets?
Granted, once they told him he was going if he had cooperated it would be better for him.... But unless this dude had outstanding warrants or something i really dont see why they approached him to begin with.
