video (http://myweb.thump.net/625691/images/working/mortar_attack_in_a-stan.mpg)

This is the video shot by two soldiers outside their camp, when a few mortars land on it, and then some US Arty gets called for a counter barrage

If so, this has been posted many times.

PT said it all - sorry to bother you guys

Would anyone happen to have a video of 120mm mortar HE round impactwatch this video link http://myweb.thump.net/625691/images/working/mortar_attack_in_a-stan.mpg before the end of video you can see american artillery response to enemy barrage i think that those explosions were caused by 105 or 120 mm mortars.

Yes I did watch it. But its quite unclear.. Wants better footage :)

Anyway, that was hardly a barrage, just a single mortar firing couple of rounds.

Yes I did watch it. But its quite unclear.. Wants better footage it should look like those explosions showed in the video, just use your imagination 120mm will make greater impact than 81mm hence greater explosion

Yes I can use my imagination, but I was looking for actual footage here. ;)

I have been 120mm mortar aimer/&leader for 100 live rounds, but I have never actually seen the destruction caused. :|

I have seen 81mm though. Its funny how you can actually see the mortar round leave the tube, travel in the air and hit the target. :D
