I have been using 3 backpacks from Camelbak for almost 10 years including the "military" (Maximum Gear) HAWG.
Only civil use but from the weekly 25 miles mountain bike ride to the rain forest in South America and Morocco summits I put them to good use.
I still have one of their first item on the market (The Narrow Gauge)
Not a problem at all.
I want to buy a new one - something bigger- and I consider the recent BHI Hydrastorm range. I have some BHI pouches and a duffle bag - quality is awesome.
How do they compare to the Maximum Gear? Prices are similar but it is hard to see the difference because none of them are available here in France. I could only compare through the Internet and catalogs before purchasing and picking them during my next trip to the USA in a few weeks.
