Airsoft shipping

If I wanted to mail an airsoft gun (its a cheap, **** and shoot one) accross state lines...what would I need to do? Or can I just mail it legally?

I would tell whoever you are using to send it that there is a replica inside and make a note on the box or something.

And whatever you do, do not say that it fires projectiles. Otherwise it falls into the restricted items catagory. For the US postal service that is. Yeah, usps regulations are gay.

I've heard the USPS sometimes "accidentaly" opens packages if they think they are suspicious. I've always been told to use UPS since they are a private company and not gov't operated.

Use UPS, less chance of item being confiscated.
