28 quid for Boots Combat High, you been ripped off mate. They were the worst boot ever. Had a couple of pairs in the 80's. tore me feet to shreds.

Right, I mean my Cold Weather Boot which is supposed to be much better quality worked fine for one season and the following summer the sole was just disintegrating. The rubber or plastic sole simply became dust at every step.
By the way, Tucker, who taught you to take pictures of your items all massed together? Anyway, as I once told HRH Prince Charles, "You can see the effort".

The jungle hat pictured beneath the helmet without a cover in the first photo is suspect.

Agreed, But surprisingly theres a high demand for NI & DMS high leg boots now, They're great for drill but shoddy for fieldcraft

WTF is a "Trop para shirt" - how does it differ from a normal tropical DPM shirt apart from bigging it up a bit? The Pathfinders TRF looks awfully new in comparison to the garment it's on - newly attached?

Don't make it too cheap and add some shiny badges, it's more attractive to certain people if the price is hiked up a bit and it has perceived "elite" unit insignia p-)

The kit it is not for sale it is military property. Furthermore if I was to sell crown property on this forum it would not be sold to some airsofter with delusions of being in my regiment walting it up in his bedroom in lightweights.

Chrikey, i thought i was bad with some of the cr4p i have on my 1157, SLR bayonet frog and the such, but lightweights got handed in yrs ago. Mind you there is some sentimental attachment to alot of my old gear, stuff from ops and my old regt.

I'm in the muck with the QM as it is due to my constant breaking of kit ,he chucked the lightweight at me when I joined up and warned I would use them soon (still waiting for that day) the only thing of kit I've ever sold is a chestrig aquirredvthrough the system to our units Dutch cultural attaché.

Some of our lads bought shoddy gear when leaving to hand in, then the nice gear they've got from the Army...Well keep or sell.
I just ditched the lot back in apart from my band trousers, para smock some old chevrons and a few badges. I sold most of my gear that I bought when in after I left, unknowing my son would have gratefully took it all in.

My son used it for his cadet camp, I got it from Yeomans Army/Camping shop about ten years back but its not official army dpm or whatever. Its the same quality as the other hats though and I like the colour.
