Hi forum!

I have a problem with identifying on ugly round case.

Here are some pics:

case length is around 66.52mm
base diameter 11.85mm
hole diameter 6.27mm
(sizes according to case owner)

on the bottom markings LC 84

Can some one help me out?

Looks like a drill round, or a blank.

lc 84 =Lake City 1984, looks to be blank round. either 5.56x45mm or 7.62x51mm

Thanks for your time and help. Never thought the "bullet" part of the blank will end up perfectly round. Ehh lack of experience .
Thanks again, have a good day!

Its a Lake City 7.62x51mm NATO blank round, I believe the nomenclature is M82. On unfired rounds the end looks just like the one in your pictures and is sealed with a reddish substance, unlike 5.56mm blanks which are crimped.
