Has anybody else seen Ali G on HBO? That might be the funniest thing I have ever seen in my life.

What is the story with this? Why am I just no hearing about it?

Ali G started about five years ago on a programme over here called "The eleven o'clock show". He's actually a guy called Sacha Boren Cohen but has his alter ego Ali G, the blatantly white leader of an LA style "gang" in Staines, a small quiet town outside London. He started out interviewing politicians and celebrities (Who assumed it was actually a real interview for a youth oriented audience) for the show and asked completely idiotic questions.

Five years ago it was one of the funniest things I'd ever seen, unfortunately it's now a bag of ****e and the movie is abysmal.

I watched his show on HBO a few times and found most of it pretty funny, especially when he's interviewing celebrities and politicians. The Georgian or Kazakh (whatever the guy is) is pretty funny too.

I managed to incorporate "big up" into my street slang -- I'm so friggin' cool it hurts. I'm pretty sure that in a former life, I was Jamaican or West Indian.

The older Ali G's are the funniest. I believe in one he tried to teach some OAP's (senior citizens) to field strip an AK47 for gang warfare.

I just watched the wine tasting where he shows the wine guy photos of his sister and in the third picture he and his sister are having ***. I'm crying.

I think the only time i laughed at somthing to do with Ali G was when he was "Borat" and was at this rally with all these people against hunting.

Him and this lady are talking and hes like "Aah, i like to hunt." and shes like "Ah what do you hunt", so he says "We used to hunt bears back in <insert where he is from> but we dont anymore" so she asks "Any why not?" so he says "Becuase there are none left"

Thought that was bloody funny.

You Brits have to realise that although he is old news over there, us Yanks are just now getting him. The second season just started on HBO. The first season wasnt even really advertised. These are new episodes based in the US not the UK.
