I'm looking for a good assaultpack.
On the web I found the BHI 3 day assault pack and

Do you guy's have a review about this pack?
And what is the diffrents between Eagle en Blackhawk?
Because the packs look all the same.
Thanks

There is also the Lightfighter RAID pack which is made by Eagle which has a lot of advantages such as a ton of modular webbing on the outside. You can find it on http://www.lightfighter.com
Also there is the SOE Bravo pack and the Tactical Tailor 3 day Assault pack which seems like a pretty good value. Not having personal experience with either of them I can't really say much about them but both are manufactured by reputable companies that make very high quality gear and I'm sure that you would be happy with either of them.

I use the BHI one... it's a great piece of patrol sack! PM for some more info if you like.

The BHI pack is a clone of the AIII.
Go with the Eagle pack.
I've had the BHI pack since July 2001. It's seen 3 continents, every weather condition (and I mean EVERY weather condition), and it's still in essentially 'new' condition, functionally, after 3 years of nearly daily use. It's just really dirty and there are some superficial scuffs. No holes, rips or tears. All zippers still work fine.

ok, here's the deal TP. When you're looking for a pack such as this the first thing that you need to do is forget Brand. Don't look for a pack because of what brand it is. First look if the pack meets your needs.
1. Can you get into the pack without everything falling out (packs with zippers that open the entire back will invariably come open at the wrong time
2. Multiple pockets. You need some small pocket sofr stuff that you know you will always need, flashlight, GPS etc. things that you don't want to have to dig for.
3. Thickness and quality of material. Is the material a heavy veneer, does it catch on a hang nail or is it slick? Are the seams double or triple folded? How are the connections of the shoulder straps to the pack itself. If you have a heavy strap and weak connections you have weak straps.
4. does the pack fit you? Can you carry it with your hand or is it cumbersome to carry by the back straps. (i.e. does it have a side handle)
Example: I have SPEARs packs, Blackhawk packs and more. My favorite pack cost me $22 and I got it at the PX to carry books in. It has seen it all and still holds together.
Hope I helped!!

My favorite pack came from Old Sarges a long time ago!! And is a cheap knock off that looks similiar to the BHI 3 day assualt pack - it just happens to be configured great.

BHI packs and other gear were used to made in US. Now days some of they stuff made overseas. Stick with the Eagle Industries.

Look at the SpecOps pack. The BH pack does not have any webbing to attach anything to. Also not enough pockets. I have both and the BH pack servers only to haul ammo around in our rig.
