I was just wondering if you could take some time to explain to me how your life in the navy has been and if you would enlist in the SEALs again. How have your officers been? what is your view of officers?

You might want to try browsing SOCNET or NavySEALs.com, but tread lightly. Look before you speak.

That means search first, and remember they owe you NOTHING!

From what I've learned from talking for a few SEAL's, (2 from Vietnam, 1 who was in Panama, and a few in more recent times) they love it. They would do it over in a heartbeat. They get to "shoot things and blow **** up 24/7" according to one.

I suggest you read "Warrior Soul; Memoirs of a Navy SEAL" by Chuck Pfarrer. I just read it, it was great. It gives quite a bit of insight.

Well, my brother was a SEAL, and by the stories he told, I can tell you that it is a very hard academy. I believe he told me that, in his class, about 100 people were in it, and only 25 graduated.

Hey, being an "abn cougar"...do you find it difficult to properly activate your cable loop type canopy release assembly?

Also do you perform a PLF on just your hind legs or on all fours?

Thanx,

Chuck Pfarrer is a good friend of my dad and I've hung out with him a bunch of times. Most of the exciting things in his career weren't mentioned in the book because of OPSEC. Most SEALs I know aren't the type of people who would talk on an internet forum. (No offense) You'll hardly ever see a team-guy wearing any SEAL memorabilia; these guys aren't fame seekers. I was at a wedding at which a friend of mine (who was in 4 in the mid '80s) was getting married. There were probably a good 10 SEALs in attendence, all of them sporting small trident pins on their lapels of thier tuxedos. It was pretty badass.

rofl Reminds me of how you can tell if your child is an Army kid or not.....The one that goes if your kid does a better PLF than your instructor did they might be Hooah...

Classic three point.

Knees, nose, toes.
