My friend worked at a Turkey/chicken slaughter house, he cut the throats etc.., and he said those birds are vicsuos(sp?) so they deserve to die :D

How can you possibly treat a chicken "ehtically" or "humanely"?? There are a gazillion chickens out there that we need for food. How can you slaughter enough chickens to feed millions of people, humanely?? Chickens and other animals out there, serve no real purpose on this planet, except to use for food.

I've been in the plants numerous times. You think kicking them is bad? Try watching them go through the machine that pulls (Yes pulls not cuts) the head off the body by clamping a fork like device to the bottom of the skull and having the conveyor pull the body in an opposite direction. Nasty.
I could probably eat a bucket of KFC while watching though. I love Kentucky Fried Chicken!!!

I'm tired of PETA, those people really need to stop whining about animal cruelty. I don't like it when animals are treated badly but PETA takes it to an extreme and acts like its better when humans die than chickens.

PETA can suck my balls...on second thought, no they can't. I'm all for humane treatment of animals, but it seems to me that they'd have everyone a vegan and ban the owning of pets. Hell, maybe we should just go back to the golden olden days, when we had that lovely lifestyle in touch with nature where we struggled to survive every day. Let the animals have the world back!
I didn't know Bea Arthur was one of these PETA kooks. Sad, I used to like Golden Girls.

The funniest part was that KFC came out and said that the accusations by PETA that they were using grinding saws to reduce the beaks on chickens was completely false. That it's all done by lasers now. Apparently all that military satellite technology in Reagan's budget got diverted. What's also great abot PETA is that they use 10-15 year old footage and keep showing it like it's new. According to them, conditions never get better and no progress is ever made. Oh, and your cat/dog that lives like a king in your house is actually a slave and you should set it free. I told that to my father's cat the other day.. "You're a free cat! Go forth!" ... but he kept coming back. :)

Animals I've eaten: Squid, Fish, Octopus, Alligator, Chicken, Cow, Pig, Shark,lobster, crab... I hope this list will grow..

Its not WHAT you eat, its about where it comes from. And I bet you don't only eat Fast Food.
For example there are many ppls who are immune against antibiotics, because they use to feed antibiotics to pigs.

I can't agree more with the opinions of those who denounce KFC's treatment of these chickens. It is simply deplorable. These poor chickens arer intelligent beings with feelings and they deserve to have rights. I will devote my life to saving these sohpisticated and deserving creatures from these horrible deaths.
I'll post some more about this when I finish eating the neighbor's cat. Be right back.
