Plus, the word is the uniforms will be black. Should be cool.

Doesnt the color black have heat retention characteristics? or be it all dark shades?..I think thats the reason you dont see alot of dark shaded uniforms or suits when it comes to enduro type sports..I could be wrong.

Well I don't know if they have decided for sure yet. OLN carried on the Lance chronicles the press conference where Discovery Channel and Lance made the announcement. They had a jersey for Lance to wear. I remember it being black. They did not say for sure that it would be the one they would wear, but they had it anyway. I agree that black might not be best choice. But I have a blue postal jersey and it is hot as b*lls on hot days even when riding. I hardly ever wear it b/c it is too hot.

Who knows. Anyway, I'm glad its Discovery if it is going to change.

eh...they arenīt fans of Lance but they are of an aficionadoīs group of José Luis Rubiera, a spanish runner of USPostal, and probably they all are from Asturias, a spanish region. Lance still hasnīt everything!
Hi you all again. Itīs a surprise reading about bycicle races and sports here, I like this addition to the forum, btw I had the fortune of seeing 2 Tour stages the second weeks. So in the meantime Miguel Indurain isnīt cloned, I say resignadly "Vamos Lance!"

I personally like this picture thread. Love these sports, except golf.

BTW: Saw the Lance Chronicles on OLN and the jersey for the Discovery Channel team is white with black stripes, the majority white.

Guess my memory is worse than I thought. Was Lance wearing all balck in the interveiw or something? Maybe my brain is just fried. Sorry about that.

There is an article on ESPN.com where Lance and Bruyneel say they may not do the Tour next year to try and win some of the other races they skip now to prepare for the tour. Of course they both say that Discovery Channel must agree. That would be interesting to see.

Lance also mentioned that he would like to set the world record for the mile and one other thing I don't remember. That would be cool to see him get 6 and then take on some other challenge and conquer it.

Here is a link for those interested:

There is another story about his beat down today of Gilberto Simeoni which is quite interesting. Lance not only wins overall, but when he does not win the stage he dictates who does. Amazing.

I wouldnt mind seeing Lance and crew in the Giro Di Italia, now that would be a sight. Hopefully the Redlands Classic stays on their tour schedule thats the only domestic race that is close enough for me to be a spectator. :)

It's easy to lose in sports you invent if they are popular. Golf was invented by us, so was cricket doesn't mean they aren't boring to watch.

That article refers to the "Classics series". Is that the Giro and the tours of the other European countries? I had not heard of the classics seriese before.

Either way, I agree the Giro would be a good addition for Lance and Johann and the boys.
