Palestinian killed by Al-Aqsa militants in Beit Hanun clash

By Yoav Stern, Haaretz Correspondent, Haaretz Service and Agencies

An Al-Aqsa Martyrs' Brigades cell killed a 16-year-old Palestinian boy in Beit Hanun on Friday after a row in which his family opposed the cell attempt to launch Qassam rockets from their yard, Israeli security sources said.

According to a report obtained from Palestinian sources, the cell, comprised of six men, arrived in a van at the Za'anun family's Beit Hanun home on Friday morning. The militants then placed a Qassam rocket launcher adjacent to the family home, and one of the cell members opened fire on an armored Israel Defense Forces vehicle nearby.

Members of the Za'anun family came out of their house holding sticks and rocks, and tried to drive the Al-Aqsa militants from their yard, most likely fearing that their house would be demolished if Qassam rockets were launched from it.

During the clash, the Al-Aqsa Martyrs' Brigades members opened fire, killing Hassan Za'anun and wounding three other family members.

The cell left the area following the incident, without firing the Qassam rockets.

So here we go, who is going to explain to me know that this was a justified act of "liberation"?
:bash:
RIP to the victim who just tried not to be an accomplice of a terrorist act.

Remove that pick please :bash:

That picture has no relation to the thread, the kid BTW was killed by a burst of 7.62*39, not .5 auto.

Itīs a crime that boy was killed, and itīs sad his family feared the Al Aqsa members as much as the israelies who would destroy his house even if they were innocents. I donīt know whatīs your point, really. You should remove the photo if you respect that boy.

Let me make something very clear.
People die, that is a fact of life. Is it pretty? No.
Is it inevitable, yes.
Do some of them die of gunshot wounds at an early age?

Life sucks my young friends. Do your best to make it the best you can. Love your family, hug your dog. Kiss your sister because I'll tell you..
You really have no idea when you are going to die,
And when your time comes, your Mommy or Daddy aren't coming to your side. They're sorry to see you go. They don't thnk justice is done, they're sad that all your dreams are gone and you'll never get out.

I am.

Do not ever break the law.

It can hurt.

Believe me.

What I tried to bring here is how regular peoplle are the real victims of this ****, how gangsters who pretend to do some "holy" work are taking their own population hostages.
It is possible that we would have teared down the house if this rocket had made more victims, not to punish a family, but to remove a potential cover for terrorists.
I know this logic has its flaws, and I don`t systematicaly agree with it. Just like I don`t systematicaly agree with the uprooting of orchards, but those are the only "non lethal" options we have to avoid being permanently fired at with increasingly efficient weapons. Believe me that the alternative would be either more troops presence, with lethal effect and your criticism for our "reprisal" raid, or simply using the method used by the russians in Grozny, bomb, shell ,,, bomb, shell, to an enormous cost in lives.
Nevertheless, it is time people start to see the true face of arafat and most of his clique, then things will move a little.

This is why everyone should have a gun, and a few handgrenades (unless their unstable.)
