View Full Version : Suspected School-Shooting in my Hometown (German SEK pics)

Ok, Today I woke up in my small hometown in Bavaria, Germany.

I was disturbed by all those sirens driving by my house and suddenly my small brother rushed in my room and told me about some masked guy with a gun in our local School.
I was like WTF???? We have 3 big Schools in my town, all togther in one place, so I was really concerned about what was going on.
I called a my best ffriend, because his mother is a teacher in one of them, but he said she was alright and the suspected gunmen was in other school. So I slipped in my pants and went down to my friend cause he had a digicam and we wanted to see what was going on.
We went to one of the supermarkets that is right in front of the schools and there were cops all over the place. Hundreds of police cars all around the town and helicopters flying in the air.

I thought I was in a bad movie or something, all those crying women and children. on the parking lot were some big vans (you can see 'em in the pics) and I knew it was the SEK (SWAT) team.
We took some pictures and tried to get news about the incident, wich was basically, that some people saw a masked gunman sneaking around the school and that the SEK teams and other police forces were searching for him.

We waited and suddenly those SEK guys came up right in front of us, just about 2-5 meters away from us and I took my cance to take some pictures until one came towards us with his MP5 in his hands and said we should leave because they don't like being photographed. I assured him to black out the faces and number-plates but we left anyway.

Until now there's no news about the suspected gunman, but I will keep you up to date.

Schwerbewaffnete Einsatzkräfte sicherten die Schule in Mallersdorf

Mallersdorf-Pfaffenberg. (rac/tg/dpa) Schock, Aufregung, Absperrungen, Polizei-Einsatzkommandos: Die Geschehnisse in Mallerdorf-Pfaffenberg halten die ganze Region noch immer in Atem. Nachdem Augenzeugen am Freitag morgen einen schwarzvermummten, bewaffneten Mann gesehen haben wollen, wie er um die Grundschule herumschlich beziehungsweise sie mit Messer oder Pistole bewaffnet betrat, herrschte dort Ausnahmezustand. Mit einem gigantischen Großaufgebot war die Polizei dort auf der Suche nach dem Mann, der möglicherweise bewaffnet war. Nachdem Schüler und Lehrer das Gebäude verlassen hatten, wurde das Haus von Spezialeinsatzkräften durchsucht, die von einem Großaufgebot Bereitschaftspolizei sowie von Hundeführern und Hubschraubern unterstützt wurden. Die Suche verlief ergebnislos. Ein Täter wurde bislang nicht gefunden.

Wie Polizeisprecher Klaus Pickel bestätigte, gab es am Morgen einen Anruf mit Hinweis auf eine geplante Geiselnahme. Die Grundschüler wurden nach der Evakuierung mit Bussen weggefahren; laut Pickel hat sich die Lage entspannt, es gibt keine Verletzten. Viele Eltern waren geschockt; viele wussten lange nicht, was mit ihren Kindern geschene war und ob sie sich noch in der Schule befanden.

Um 15 Uhr will die Polizei nähere Auskünfte geben. idowa wird Sie über den weiteren Stand der Dinge unterrichten; eine ausführliche Darstellung des Falles lesen Sie morgen in unseren Zeitungen.

Yes, they were in a real hurry and hadn't enough time to get their full gear on.

Is it me or was one of the dudes packing a Steyr Aug?

I also was kinda suprised about him carrying a Steyer, I had a closer look at it and it seems it was a Steyer Aug with a RIS/RAS configuration and a EOTECH-sight. They were also carrying some of the famous MP5 GR's.

NEWS: It seems the man fled when the police came but some clothing and a Bicycle were found wich may belong to this guy. And again: Nobody was hurt but all the children were shoked, they will need psychological treatment. I hope they get their hands on this bastard.

some SEKs used to carry Steyr AUGs with Hensoldt 6x42 scopes. but ive never seen an aug like that one the pictures in use. 42 round mag, eotech holosight, some kind of ris/ras.. wow :)

Only the bavarian SEK use the AUG. They got black Steyr AUG A1 Carabine with Special Reciver. I think the operator has only a light under the barrel.

Yes, such a configuration is strange, but I think only the Bavarian SEK uses AUGs.
The SEK Baden-Württemberg seems to use G36Ks instead of AUGs.
