Did anyone see this?

I don't ever even remember seeing previews for it in theaters, but I rented it last night.
I wouldn't normally create a topic just for a movie, but I really liked this one.
Very, very realistic (IMHO) No B.S. over the top special effects. Just a great cast and well acted thriller with an awesome plot full of twists.
I give it 4 out of 4 bananas woot

Brief synopsis:

Val Kilmer plays Scott, an off-the-books special-ops agent, whose newest assignment is to find the possibly kidnapped daughter of a high government official before the story leaks.

In case you care, way down in the credits, listed as 'Technical Advisor' is one Eric L. Haney, CSM, US Army (Ret.)

That movie was very awesome. Val Kilmer seemed very realistic as the lean and mean special operator, probably because that Delta guy (ie Eric Haney) was the military supervisor for the script and action.

I just watched it this morning and I was quite dissapointed. The begining 20minutes was good but it just fell apart after that. Bad acting by all.
I thought it was cheesy, and typical/predictable.

You got your little girl who runs around like a chicken with its head cut off. You got your "partner" dying in your arms.

Sounds like a typical Military cliche like those from a Delta Force movie. ;)

"Don't worry men. We'll head them off at the pass."

"Head them off at the pass? I hate that cliché."
