I'm just trying to look at my different options. I have a lower receiver Duracoated in FDE and some of the coating has already chipped in some places with minimal use (selector movement, magazine release rubbing against the lower, etc). I'm considering sending off the lower to have it redone using Cerakote, but am also looking into a job I can have done local, like a powder coat.
