On 18.10.1977 (dd,mm,jj), 0.05 am operation "magic fire" began.
The GSG9 stormed the airplane "Landshut" within 4 hijackers who were killed during a firefight. All involved persons except the terrorists survived. Only one GSG9 member became easily hurt.
Itīs one of the most famous GSG9 operation.
