Seeing as how I am only 20.....anyone in my age range who has a kid already and isn't married has some issues.

Course, if I were like 45 and she was hot....then yeah.

You didn't really give me a voting option, Jack!

I hope there are a few guys out there who don't mind single mothers... since I am one.... :D

I have dated single mothers in the past. I had no problems, nor did the kids.

Not to be rude but single mothers are the easiest to get into bed. To answer the question is no, too much baggage. Ive been there done that atleast not for a serious relationship.

Nice generalization.

To clarify it's just my opinion on the experiences I have had with single mothers.

I blew it last night with a single mom -- she was awesome. Blue eyes and blonde hair...hilarious sense of humor...she even told me the carpet matches the curtains, which is nice to know. I lost her and never got the digits.

Some people like raisins, other like grapes.
No shame in that

Grapes are more juicy though.

Sure, why not? Everyone has baggage of some sort or another.

Ok I change my mind, I would date Nicole Kidman or Angelina Jolie. :P

Two things I consider when it comes to this.

1. Is she worth the hassle?
2. Can I establish a relationship with her child/children so that we enjoy each others company?

Its not that I dont mind kids, I enjoy being around them. But it the little tyke is a brat or a little snobby ****, its either adios or get the kid some behavior lessons.

After some more thought, I came to this realization:

I would be MORE comfortable dating someone with a kid, than I would be dating someone with a doberman/rottweiler/pitbull. The dating-a-single-mother thing might work out, might not, but it's worth a shot in my book. What's the worst that could happen? You're not happy so you break up, big effing deal.

Yeah, getting your balls attacked by a rabid mutt doesn't sound too appealing. :|

If I got along with someone fantastically, then I don't see why not. Single parents are prevalent nowadays, so it's not too uncommon. Plus, why limit yourself when there are tons of great people out there who also happen to be parents? Worked for my uncle. When he met my aunt, she had a 10 year old. They married and added 3 more. They're happier now than ever.

He: "Hey, where are you going? Did I scare you?
She: "No, hold that dirty thought, but first i need to breastfeed my baby."
