Good looks and politics?

So guys, what do you think. Is good looks necessary to suceed in politics?

I mean, I think I look pretty normal and I'm not really fat when you think about it. Some ladies even say I look good, but maybe they just like a guy in uniform. My mum sayes I can do anything I want and she even thinks I'll be the prime minister one day. So I'm thinking about politics.

Yes it does. There's lots of talk that looks and charm are going to be a big part of the U.S. VP debates.
