L1A1 Sling

I'm very embarrassed to ask this question but there are times when I truly wear a Dunce cap.

I have a British or Australian sling for my SAC Latta FN. How the heck do you attach it? The ends of the sling are a type I've never seen.

hi,

the hooked ends pass through the sling swivel and then fold back on to the middle length of the sling connect back onto the sling on the webbing. this on the Rifle side of the sling.

I used to use one of these as a dog lead, many yrs ago. Good solid sling.
