This thread is really not about which of the two rifles, the Remington's M24 or the KAC SR-25, is THE best. It is more about talking about their pros and cons from a military stand point. Like which one is suitable in certain roles over the other, etc.
Please comment on it, guys. I want to hear from you.

Since the SR-25 is a semi-automatic rifle, it is easier for follow up shots. Also, it has a 20 round detachable box magazine which makes reloading much easier.

The M24 can use .300 win mag I think.

Its adaptable from what I've read, but you need to exchange some parts. I don't know of very many weapons using .300 WinMag being fielded. There seems to have been this odd love affair in the US military with .300 WinMag for a while, but for the most part most services seem to have stuck with 7.62x51mm, and are making due with both regular M80 ball, as well as, the M118 match-grade round. The USMC was toying around with their DMR ideas in the late '90s but ended up rejecting the HK MSG90 (after testing six prototype weapons) because it couldn't be retrofitted to fire .300 WinMag. As far as I know, their M14 DMRs, nor their M40A3s can fire this round either. It would appear times have changed.

Its adaptable from what I've read, but you need to exchange some parts.Well the base of the cartridge is different between the 7.62 and the .300 WinMag - the .300 WinMag is 0.043" wider than the 7.62 (that's slightly over 1mm for you metric people.) I'm not sure if the M24 use a .308 extractor instead of the standard .300 WinMag one. But, if so, the only two items required to be swapped is the barrel and the extractor. If they use a standard .300 WinMag extractor then all you need to replace is the barrel.
