"El Diablo" or "Il Diabolo" behind Ullrich(edited), I think he´s an italian fannatic of bycicles races, he´s very popular since many years ago. You could see him usually in Giro de Italia, but now it seems he got some sponsoring for going to Tour de France.

The Best. Valentino Rossi, the best motorcyclist of the world even that he hasn´t the best bike, yesterday in Donnington Park after winning the GP of Great Britain of the World Racing Championship.

http://www.diario-elcorreo.es/vizcaya/interactivo/imagenes_del_dia/imagenes/armstrong.jpg
Lance Armstrong, the best cyclist of Tour history, but not the best cyclist of cyclism history. I´ve read this last days many enthusiasts posts of american members about Armstrong, and I agree he´s an extraordinary person even more than a sportist, because his skills as byciclist but mostly by the way he recovered himself after being ill. But he isn´t the best cyclist ever, and I´m afraid the 95% of american members here didn´t knew Lance Armstrong even when he had won the third Tour nor they know very much about cyclism. Only adding as an information that the UCI is the Internacional Cyclist Association, and there is a calendar of races you ran every year, and you win the points for every race you run, at the style of the ATP circuit of Tennis. In the UCI there are only three races of three weeks, which of course are the most important of all in points and in prices: The Tour de France, Il Giro de Italia and the Vuelta a España, being the Tour the most important of the three because is the oldest and ALL the runners wanting to be the nº1 had to win this race. The Giro and the Vuelta are in the second step after the Tour and if you win one of them or both them, you´ll be rich and the member of an small elite, a challenger for being considered the number one after winning the Tour of course. But Lance Armstrong is marking a new trend, he chooses every year less with the only final target of the Tour: He only runs the Tour every year as a major race, he renounces to run the Giro and the Vuelta, contrary to what did the great champions before him: Anquetil, Hinault, Merckx and Indurain, they all ran the same year the Tour plus the Giro or the Vuelta, and frequently they won two big three-weeks races the same year, like Indurain winning the Tour and the Giro the years 1993 and 1994, aftermore they competed for winning the World Championship, the Olympics, breaking the 1 hour world record or anyother prestigious 1 week races the same year they won the Tour. Lance Armstrong never has done such a feat, still he has won less big races than the other four runners. For being considered the best ever you need running and winning something more one big race every year . Still he could do it, by the moment he only is the best of the Tour, but not the best cyclist ever, which I think is Eddie Mercks and close to him the other three, just my opinion.

The crew of Astillero boat won yesterday the Bandera El Correo in Lekeitio port, N.Spain. The boats used are an evolution of the "Trainera", a former fisher boat for fishing anchoas or sardinias. The most beautiful sport of all, and one of the oldest, at least in Spain ;).

Hey, all that matters is he won in France. BOOYA!
