Eygpt's Military equipment in 2010

I was wondering what Eygpt is doing as far as upgrading it military at the moment. I know that it has F16 fighter jets and Abrams tanks in service. But what else is happening to upgrade its equipment at the moment ? Will it be getting new small arms that are in line with Nato forces and other assets to improve its infantry. Comment and photos would be great.

Mubarak isn't getting any younger.

Hopefully he'll have a successor who is just as strong and with the same mindset.

It's said Hosni Mubarak hopes to pass the "crown" to his son. I hope he is able to pull off this transition smoothly.
