I need to know the dimension of the bayonet hole. Or, the diameter of a standard M16/M4 muzzle device. They should be close to the same

Thanks

Isn't it 22mm, like for the NATO standard Rifle Grenades?

Go to a gun store or a milsurp place. Do it yourself.

It's a little odd to go around measuring muzzles at a gun shop, don'cha think? I guess I could have asked at a gun shop, but I am at home with a toddler, and I trust a consensus on a forum over most of the gun shop workers I have met.

What type Shotgun? a Mossberg M590 has the Boss for a M7/M9 Bayonet. A Winchester 97/12/1200, Stevens 520-30 use the M1917 Bayonet from WWI.

Norinco 98. I have had it for years, and wanted to put a bayonet on it for a while now. It looks like it might become a reality soon :D

Norinco 98 is a Rem 870 copy, correct? find a Bayonet mount for the Rem

The Remington manufactured extension will be too long. The 98 I have has an extended mag tube, so the cap is only about 2.5" from the muzzle. They are also hard to find, and expensive when you do.

For the cost of 2" of 7/8" aluminium round stock and $90 to Canada for the screw on bayonet lug I will be all set.

Bayonets are for girls...if you were a real man you'd just impale the miscreant on your weapon with a mighty thrust...

On a serious note. Pics when your done if it works?

Will do.

And I assure you, the bayonet is only for intimidation value. No one believes you when you tell them you will shove a 12 gauge barrel through their face.

apparently 3" x 7/8" round stock extruded medium grade aluminum costs about $2.00 but costs $15+ to ship... WTF!?
