Weapons of the Dominican National Guard?

In 1916, USMC troops intervening in Santo Domingo (Domincan Republic) created the a national gendarmerie, the Guardia Nacional, which remained in existance until the early 1930s. I'm trying to find out if they were equipped with U.S. rifles (Krag-Jorgensen or M1903 Springfields) as were the similar U.S. organized forces in Haiti and Nicaragua?
