Hello everyone, I'm looking for some info on when/who wore the FLC vests in DCU. Some pics would also be appreciated.

I can tell you the 256th Bde had them in July 2004 when we went to CIF at Hood. I got a Woodland so went out and Ordered an SDS DCU RACK that day.

Okay, that certainly helps. I've always seen pics of woodland FLCs, but never DCU ones.

I know for a fact the US Army uses/used the FLC. In many different variations (Woodland, DCU, and ACU). I think i've even seen MP's wearing black ones. It's a very common load carrying vest. Personally I hate these things and rather just attach stuff to my IBA or IOTV. Plus they'll make the pull chord system useless on your IOTV.
