Is it possible that it was used by SS troops?
Thanks in advance!

Its the Italian 3 color jacket,

The pattern was used by both the Germans and Italians, most likely the Germans retrofitted it while the Italian Campaign. That may be pretty rare, I haven't seen anything like it

looks to be a Mountain troopers "windproof" jacket, normally made in grey or grey green by the Germans, field made ITalian camo versions were made and worn, might be something to do with the Prinz Eurgen division in Yugoslavia?

It wasn't only the SS who used this acquired pattern. It was seen in the Heer, Polizei and LW also.
Without providence you can't conclude it was SS or Prinz Eugen, could have been any GJ unit if it even is a wind jacket.
It could even be made postwar with wartime material and buttons, it's not uncommon. I have a friend who had one made with proper cotton threading from the 1940s. Not to burst your bubble, but these are being faked just like all WW2 militaria. But on the other hand it could be legit. The material definitely is original.

I only mentioned that because a few years ago I bought an original Italian square zelt and converted it into a triangular one, and as mentioned a buddy of mine had a jacket made. Pants are the most common and faked profusely. Checkout www.1944militaria.com
edit:they used to have the pants alone. I compared them to an original pair and it was scary how close they were.
