Looks like a BI vest to me. And look at the other operators, they wear whatever vests they want to, it isn't like they are issued them so even if for some reason he did have an Aussie vest that doesn’t mean he’s necessarily Australian.

They look like Merrells. One of their hiking models. Don't know what model. That you'll have to check yourself. At least Merrells are used by the SEALs. Seen 'em. I don't think they're one of them Agitator Danners.

In the photo, there are 2 M60E4s, and the hard bastard on the right has a Mk46/8. The box looks like it could hold 7.62, however the barrel length is the right size for the Mk46, but then MG barrels are interchangeable. :\
