On Saturday 24.07.2004 there was a Police Day in Poland. The main attraction of that day was a CT demonstration in Warsaw performed by central police counter-terrorist unit ZOA (Counter-terrorist Operations Directorate) and maritime CT team from SWAT team from Gdansk.
Here are some photos that I made during this demonstration. There was so much acction, that it was really hard to focus on making photos ;)
Enjoy

Good job with the pics, mate :)
OT:
One thing that bothers me is, that why do "they" put those EOTech's on top of the G36's original sight? I looks pretty silly, and makes the gun too high... Can't the original sight be removed?

Well maybe when he needs some extra "zoom" (for longer shots) he is using the lower optical sight, and when he needs to shoot quick shots on short distance he is using the holosight.

This might very well be the reason... Although if I remember correctly the G36 sight only has 1.5x magnification so not much zooming there... (might be wrong with this one)

Apart from the 1.5x optical sight in the "Export" version, the G36 is also available with a 3.5x optical sight.

Oh yes, you are correct! Somehow I was thinking about the export-version... The 3.5x sight makes more sense.
Thought, I still think the EOtech is too high above the barrel... Imagine aligning that for 150m and then having to shoot to 300m (not that this config would very usable outside of CQB-situations anyway, IMO)

Seems as though these two are under armed compared to the others. Maybe that's why they're not participating. ;) [/quote]

these two are prabably SPAT Gdańsk (local CT units like SWAT) and these with G36 MP5 etc are from ZOA (former BOA) -central CT unit.

Those are not police officers from Gdanks SPAT, but from police department responsible for fighting with car thiefs gangs (those are not CT/SWAT policemen).
Policemen from Gdansk SWAT team are on this photo:

I'm curious what that means...Is it finall product? Who owns that car, why it is "demonstrator" and not in actual use, if it is not owned by police why it was presented on that show... Its first time I see and hear about it so demonstrator alone doesn't mean mutch to me ....

WZM nr5 are military factory that upgrades our BRDM2 to Żbik standard and they will be producing AMV, others WZM are making rapairs of plane/helo engines, planes, helos etc...
don't know how big is their part in Terier program prabably for Polish customer they put few minor changes in basic project.....
