Driving tanks, and shooting stuff is probably the most fun thing you could do in Kansas.

Hell, its the most fun thing you could do anywhere.

just down the road at K-state. It's awesome to watch the black hawks fly around and hear random explosions throughout the day. fun stuff.

Yeah theres a lot training going on lately, especially my company we've been going to the field once a week for 6 weeks straight. A day after our Tank Gunnery we had a machine gun range, day and night fire.

My deployment to Iraq has been moved closer by almost 5 months so training is getting crammed into the schedule.

I lived in Manhattan for a while; I was about 15 mi. from the MPRC and main gun fire rattled my windows at home :)

I've been in the flight pattern with UH-60 blackhawks before, pretty sweet, even cooler when I see Apaches around.....

first flight instructor about ran into a blackhawk over the runway at night, blackhawk had NO lights on and made no radio calls, that was at Manhattan municipal

still like how there was an order to not go to "SILVERADOS" in Aggieville, so they changed it to "BUSHWACKERS" so all the Ft. Riley ppl could go to that bar a couple of years back, it's still funny
