Saw the Reagan coming into San Diego harbor on the day i went to comicon:

i also caught sight of a landing excersize involving bradleys and a hovercraft near pendleton, but i didnt have my camera. xP[/img]

yeah, i couldnt quite explain it either.

i know the amtracks have the smaller turrets, but im sure it was bradleys because they had much bigger ones, that were centered over the hull.

those are some nice pics of the USS Reagan. If that last pic is any indication, the landing exercise must have been a hell of a good time....hehehehe :lol:

that's not the Reagan, thats CVN 68 which is the Nimitz.

the Reagan is CVN 76

The regan is there, it just to the right of the one in the picture... all you can really see is the tower on it.

They were probably LAV-25's (http://www.fas.org/man/dod-101/sys/land/lav-25.htm) then. Marines use them for Light Armored Recon units.
