Maybe a stupid question, but why is everything written in English? I can understand why everything on the jet is in English if it was made in UK or USA, but why does it say "Beware Rotors and..." and why is the message on the bomb written in English? These were taken on an Italian carrier, right?

All the instructions for the aircraft are written in English. It's same for all the commercial jets also like boeing... (even airbus publicates their manuals in English...)

and maybe they wanted the world to see what they are doing and you know, English is the "world" language these days.

I was wondering why other air arms, such as the italian navy, or usmc, don't use the dedicated sidewinder pylons like RAF Harriers do. I mean the ones just in front of the wing wheels. They free an extra hard-point for other stores. Also, RAF Harriers attach their laser designators on the left gun mount, under the belly, also freeing one wing pylon. I've read that the Harrier II+ has the ability for the sidewinder pylon but I have never seen any photos.
