Do you ware a beard and what kind of beard is it? Give a little history of your beard. I personally grow my beard during hunting season. I’ve been able to grow facial since 10 years of age; I think it’s my Italian heritage. My first real beard at 16 or 17. My beard style would be something like the below image maybe a bit thicker, not grey yet. :P For the ladies unless you want to discuss your facial hair growth, tell us do you like your men with or without? My wife doesn’t really like that I grow a beard. She tells me to shave it. I tell her it what being a man is all about, see then rolls her eyes.

Well...

at the moment i have a rather dashing mustache and a patch of hair on my lower lip. my sideburns are pure pimpin' 70s, all the way down to my jaw.

what can i say... i've been away. normally i am clean shaven or enjoy the three day growth like sonny crockett on miami vice.

It depends on the guy. I like some guys with facial hair and others without. I think a goatee or a vandyke can look really good on the right guy, and I think a neatly trimmed beard or a nice 'stache can look good too. I guess it just depends on the man.
From the pic that you posted.... I think the guy on the left looks better... I don't care much for a really full grizzly adams type look.

I want to grow my hair long at least 6 inches long and lots facial hair like a pot smoking hippy, but that's not an option because I have to shave them once every month for drill.

My facial hair doesn't really grow thick at all, so there's no point in trying to grow a beard. Oh well.

I have to shave every couple of days. My sideburns are just now starting to grow in thick, :| Shaving sucks.

I've never really liked beards because back when my dad was in the military and I was little, he'd chase me down and rub his beard on my face. :( The horror...

Saw the Deer Hunter when I was about 17. Liked that beard that de Niro wore, and grew and kept one like that for about 15 years. Then I started wearing a more traditional goatee, always kept short.

If I want to look respectable (for da ladies), I always shave. If I have an important meeting, I shave. I just don't look good with facial hair.

I not so much into Grizzly Adams, but those fellas there*in the pic*... Nice. Beards/Goatee's are very nice if short and kept well. A Mustache just depends on the man who's wearing it. A little scruff goes along way in my book. Btw... thumbs up for the hairy chested man too.

My facial hair resembles the fellas (in the pic) on the right. I like to have a little scruff there, can't stand it when it gets to long though. Itches like hell.

Well I'm wearing a beard like the guy on the left side of the picture for seven to eight years now.

My hair and beard are blond and I have to trim the beard at least weekly because of my job.

My wife likes it this way and threatens to get a short hair cut if I were to shave my beard. :)

I have some badass sideburns.

Depends on the guy, but usually a little scruff is muy sexy. Goatees are nice, and even sideburns on the right guy can look good too. The guys in the pic look good, there's not too much beard. :)

No , man. I keep my jaw shaved all the time if there's no need to go anywhere (that is).

But sometimes when I'm just at home , and there's noplace to go in and look formal in , I leave it scruffy.

I have what Ria will probably consider too much beard. ;) It's looking trimmer and shorter the past few weeks though. p-)

So I've never tried this, but I've always wondered-does Rogaine work on the face too? Or is that not a good idea for people to try? I don't mean someone go experiment, of course, just wondering.

Couldn't tell ya, but spraypaint might work.

No beard for me. Rarely a goatee. Never just a stache. Mostly clean shaven. plus it makes me look younger... ;)

I like a little scruff, even a full-fledged beard. I'm partial to shaggy Southern frat boys. But sometimes a goatee or a soul patch can look ridiculous on someone. You've got to be careful with the styled facial hair.

It does Tane, minoxidil the steroid in Rogaine stimulates hair growth on any part of the body you place it.

You don't say? I might have to suggest that to my one of the guys I work with, who has never been able to grow a beard. The effect goes away once one stops applying Rogaine, right?

<--Oh, and who likes this guy's beard?

I wish I had my last driver's license pic -- I did look like Grizzly Adams...I was all stressed out at work, and I just let it go...some women liked it...now I'm pretty much bald all over my head. Thank you testosterone and my male ancestors.

I usually have a few days stubble, just for the protection from the wind and sand where I train, as I am not on active stand by at the moment I have got a quarter inch long goatee and moustache. Though when I am working it all comes off clean for the usual 'gas mask' reasons, though maybe a mexican bandit moustache would be cool
