One thing that really bothers me about this forum is the people who bash each others countries and militaries. If I said the USA was the best, the French would say they were the best, so I have decide to run a little experiment. I'll list my favorite ten CT-SF units (in my oppinion) and then the rest of you can follow suit. The first person to bash someones countrie or start that my countries better **** will loose. The rest of us will be the winners! ;)

1. Delta Force, because they the most selective and best trained organization on earth.
2. British SAS and SBS, because their the pioneers of CT-Spec Ops and a highly trained organization as well.
3. Polish GROM, because of their unique type of selection and operation specialty.
4. Canadian JTF-2, because of it's small size and versatility.
5. Aussie TAG/SASR, because of their large amount of training with other countries.
6. American Green Berets, because of their large size, specialties, and out of the box look at thinking.
7. American SEALS and Marine Force Recon, because of their wide range of training, real world ops, and unique look at frogman type operations.
8. Israeli Matkal, because of their field intelligence gathering operational training.
9. French SA Unit, because it's made up of French commandos and Legionaires trained for undercover ops and espionage.
10. US Special Tactic Squadrons, because thier bravery allows others to live.


PS. I list none of these in any particular order. If I listed anymore I would put the Italian SF, Greek SF, South Korean, Skandinavian, Dutch, Spainish and German Units, because these countries also maintain well trained and motavated specops units.

why is it that people come along and have to try to guess who's the best.my god all this guy wants is really find out which special ops group appeals to people the most so he inmagine joining that unit.now me i dont say seals are better than army sf or vise versa. i am going for the seal teams and i believe they are the best in my own vivsion but then again why would i want to go seals if i didnt think that. now i dont think they a better in every thing but the reason i like them is because of their maritime capabilities let me reminde you other than that the seals fight like army sf or force recon thats my two cents

KML: See, here's the deal: Apparently you havn't established your bone fishes or cumulated vicuals with these guys. Your theme is a reoccuring one, although this is the first time I've ever seen anyone (especially a Moderator) treat the poster so badly. Apparently they don't know you well enough to treat you with respect, i.e., you havn't proven (somehow) that you are SPECOPs, SOF, SF or something similar, and not a 15 year old Airsoft afficionado. TAG (Tactical Assault Group) are a police unit here in Australia.

SASR are army.

It's like putting together boy scouts and nuclear weapons, there different things for different purposes.

and TAG/W are SASR, since TAG-W are for defending the West coast, and TAG-E are defending the East coast, where the 4RAR are stationed.

Jarheads are nolo contende to SEALs. Sorry, they just aren't. They are your run of the mill complacent Marines (which the entire Corps is a joke, it isn't even it's own branch of the military!) who think that if they can swim and run 12 miles a day they are special. Short bus special forces, maybe. I know I am going to piss of a bunch of my fellow Americans, but I had to say it.
