Whats the deal with the green armour? is it new or just the osprey assualt in a different colour?

Looks like that, or a slightly diffrent variant with side flaps for the cummerbund.

it is the NEW osprey assault armour cover. has coloured nonslip shoulder pads (not BNFIN) and different cumberbund connectors. i'm 99% certain we are getting it in MTP and the one that was viewed in the Video is an "off the shelf" one from the manufacturer (although it was originall designed by Solo International). think it comes with about 15+ pouches as well!!

so no need for the blokes to spend a fortune on blackhawk or or whatever, who seemed to have upped their prices by £10-£15 quid Just because its made out of multicam!!

Mtp was rolled out for herrick XII with priority going to the ground holding units.

us in 16AA havent got it yet. its coming in in drips and drabs but i doubt we will get it until there is a full OP issue to give out.

we are guessing and looking at the end mid-end of july.

this time round though, the OP issue seems to be getting better and better each tour though.

Osprey mk4 comes in two flavors as it seems:

One is with short cummerbund flaps on sides (as seen on the BBC clip)

And other is with large central flap to fasten the cummerbund halves by velcro.

Out of curriosity when MTP is on widespread issue will we be recieveing tan boots like the septics, or sticking with black leather one?

i do know that as we are getting the winter issue, we are getting pro boots or an alternative and lowa and magnum

seems we are getting new molle type 45 Litre daysacks, man/grab bags and mini gerber lethermans, head touches and mini maglites on issue too!!
