Looks like ISA/TV/GF have lost some people. One of them may be E&Eing from the sound of this report:

It's pretty disturbing when you read stories about this. Can you imagine a section of your country under the control of a bunch of rebel soldiers that occasionally bombs your cities? Actually, Ireland and Britain just came to mind.

I suspect a Tier One team will already be forward deployed to a local launch site for any prospective hostage retrieval and ISA/GF will be using their crews to find their people.
It now appears that the surviving three were captured by FARC. Note the intriguing lines about 'government contrctors' on an 'intelligence mission'. My bet is ISA/GF or Majestic Eagle who are a CIA crew who carry out a similar function. Since the Cessna was DOD operated though, I'd wager the Army unit.

Semperfi, Vance
It denotes certain special operations capable units within the US military and their capabilities in the areas of CT/MCT/DA. There was another thread on this forum explaining it to some detail but briefly from memory...
Tier One is the black world crews- CAG, DEVGRU, GF etc- the JSOC crews
Tier Two are the grey world SF doorkicker DA teams and Rangers
Tier Three are 'regular' white SF ODAs and the SEAL Teams.
If you need any more, let me know and I'll look it up.

Betcha $5 it's FARC. Those bastards will kill any American they find, or so I assume.

It is almost confirmed that FARC has the three missing men from the CESSNA crash. I don't think they will kill them, since corpses are useles for trading. Probably they will want to exchange them for their own prisoners in Colombian Government's hands.
Recently the president of Colombia commented that US should worry less about the terrorist threat Irak poses and more about the terrorist threat of Colombian guerillas. I think he is absolutelly right; FARC is a much more serious threat to the world's peace than Irak.
Best regards,
Rafael

I take it everyone has seen the latest?

I'm suspecting GF or perhaps a contractor but certainly not Company. The 'other assets' make me smile. Can anyone spell CAG???
