Zero tolerance .We have a good number of pirates in our jails already. Most of the pirates do not operate out of our shores .They have tried in different ways .
1/ Some of them decided to live among the population of the biggest coastal town we have in Berbera , they were caught on land in their houses .
2/ Some have tried to set up shop in remote desolated areas. Again with the help of the local fishermen alerting the authorities , NATO aircrafts were called in .
3/Others were either captured by the Somaliland security forces on a couple of "abducted" trawlers and the rest of them were unloaded by the navies patrolling the area.
Zero tolerance !

International world should have recognized Somaliland as independent 20 years ago. This is really ridiculous. It's the only functional part of Somalia, a moderate Islamic country and it historically was never even a part of Somalia and was only a part of Somalia from 1960-1990.

I do say they are doing real good in comparison to Somalia proper or Ogaden. Too bad the flag sucks.

They even have competent military forces.
