Nice mug shot.

One thing i never understood when they do an investigation into people that have lets say marijuana or other drugs.. its always Police found XX drugs and XX amount of guns. Is it really necessary to report that someone had guns? I can understand in this case because he had a prior felony, but i have seen other articles that report guns for no apparent reason....

Drugs and guns go hand in hand, the same way drugs and violence go hand in hand. The possession of firearms is evidence of further criminal activity. Possession of firearms in the commission of a drug trafficking crime (or crime of violence) is also a Federal crime with a 5 yr min man.
