They're wearing the M1917A1 helmet. The M1 steel pot didn't appear in large numbers until mid-1942...

M10 Wolverine Tank Destroyer. Open turret. Gun is facing the rear.

Do you mean the tank? The Achilles is the British version of the M10 Wolverine. Looks the same.

-The field guns are French made 155 mm Schneider modèle 1917 (WW1 vintage)
-The machine gun is a US made Browning M 1917A1 in 30.06
-The tank destroyer is an M10, Wolverine being the name given to the the British M10 in service within the Anti-tank regiments of the Royal Artillery.

The difference between the Wolverine and the Achille is that the Achille had a British 17 pounder cannon instead of the US 76,2 mm. The counter weight behind the muzzle brake is the easy way to spot the difference.

i was talking about the helmet :P if i recall, i believe the brits used more m10's than the yanks, and wasnt it a self propelled gun?

It's not a Vickers MG. It's US M1918 MG and Russians used Maxim M1910 MG

ok lets get this straight did the brits copy the US equipment or did the Us copy the brits? LOL
