Very nice. Every time I see pictures of ghillie suits like that, it always makes me wan tto make one. Then I start thinking about when I would have the chance to use it and get sad. =/

Also, what is the purpose of the strap extending across the top of the barrels up to the muzzle break on those rifles? I've seen something similar on SIG 550s. Is that something to do with glare reduction?

It's to reduce glare a bit but more to reduce the effects of heat coming off the barrel and messing up your sight picture in your scope. When you are looking through your scope and there is heat coming off the barrel, it produces a mirage effect which can be very annoying for a target shooter/hunter, and downright dangerous for a military sniper/marksman.

I doubt that. all the dudes on the pics should be german, from
Jägerbataillon 371/ Marienberg, as you can read on the sniperzone homepage.

actualy i thought that they where German and Canadian :)

but then again thats as far as my german goes lol

and speaking of training most that ive herd is our CT team ARAS training with SEALS, HRT, and SFOD-D and last year I think we had some excercises with scandinavian countries, you could get more nfo on www.kam.lt
