I have been seeing and hearing a lot about the americans and britishs moving to a new mulitcam camo for their armies in the next twelve months. Can anyone tell us how long it will take to bring them into full service and how they differ from each other.

If people could post photo's of the new mulitcam patterns that would be great .

I believe a small search here will provide you with all the answers. Trere are several threads about both

Here's one: http://www.militaryphotos.net/forums/showthread.php?159255-New-Camo-for-Afghan...wha

Multicam has 'blobs', MTP has 'strokes'. MTP was developed by Crye for the MoD, it's Multicam colours in a DPM pattern.

If you think about it it takes us back to a similar situation as the pre-UCP days - US Woodland 'blobs', DPM 'strokes' in similar colours (green, brown, fawn, black).

Great, so now US and UK troops are indistinguishable unless you get close enough to see the flags.

Great, so now US and UK troops are indistinguishable unless you get close enough to see the flags.Well, they aren't suppose to shoot at each others anyway, so why is that a bad thing?

Some pictures from the Brit thread:

And just google multicam and you see what the US look like...

No, that is not the master question, it's the master poser question and the answer is:
YOU DON'T NEED IT

you cant....
if you try on ebay and the guy selling gets caught.....hes fvcked.

besides who wants to pay Ģ60+ (i jest not!!) for a pair of trousers....if you do your a mug!!

its on issue, not on sale to the public....be warned.....

you may get an MTP Grab bag but they are ****e anyway....cheapest bid for contract....only 1 stitch on all contacts...proper pants....the local tailor shops ar having a field day before our tour!! saw one go on flea bay the other day for Ģ62!!.....

i know what they cost and if anyone wants one at around that price or above they can PM me!!! (joke!!)

I bet it is more of a WANT than a NEED. Pull your head out of your ass.

Multicam is so effective it even obscures logic and simple manners.
